This building is conceptualized as an organic form, a structure that is capable of continuous expansion and transformation. Inspired on the desert’s cellular crystal-like structures, the building functions as a vast shell-like protective surface that is permeable and incorporates several indoor patios. One of the stones used in this complex is Portuguese Vidraço Azul limestone, with a honed and bush-hammered finishing, resulting in a contrast that reflects the landscape, oscillating between soft and rough.
